Bendigo Winter Night Shelter is a 100% volunteer organisation, from shelter teams to board, every person who contributes to our function gives themselves freely to the cause.

We are always looking for ways to strengthen our operations, by equipping ourselves with people who can bring their unique skills, abilities, experience and passion to the table.

Become a Member

Membership at BWNS provides a means for you to be involved in decision making and strategic direction of the organisation, giving you the right to

  • Receive notice of general meetings and of proposed special resolutions in the manner prescribed by our constitution
  • Submit items of business for consideration at a general meeting
  • Attend and be heard at general meetings
  • Vote at a general meeting
  • Have access to the minutes of general meetings and other documents of the association.

  1. Read our Constitution (Rules of Incorporation)
  2. Read our Member Code Of Conduct
  3. Fill out the Membership Application Form
  4. Send our Membership Referee Response Form to your nominated Referees
  5. Email all completed forms to secretary[@]bwns.org.au
